CHART YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PROGRESS:
Want to manage your social media sites? Yesterday’s post reviewed Chris Brogan‘s 19 tips: Resolve to Manage your Online Presence.
Today you’ll find a handy spreadsheet to use for weekly check-offs. And there’s space to add other tasks . . . like writing your blog post 🙂
Now you can Check-off when you Do-It

Shari: This is an excellent article and is just in time for my new year’s resolutions #2, #3 and #4, which is — take time each day to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and blog….thanks for the extra push! Cheers, Diane R. Castro
Hi Diane,
I believe the common wisdom is to try to schedule regular times each day to make your social media practice a routine, but if your life is like mine, it’s more important to find convenient times on a day-by-day basis when your social media activities will bring you joy rather than a feeling of obligation. So many of my SM activities seem to be like chatting with my friends — not work.
Good checklist summary of Chris Brogan’s article for newbies and for social media vets who want to be very active online. I keep too busy to achieve this volume of activity!
Yes, Lynn, as I was writing the article, I tried to do EVERYTHING that Chris suggested and even though Social Media is pretty much my life right now, it was difficult to do it all!
Thanks Shari for an excellent check list. Just one comment, is it possible to have it in .pdf format?
Actually, Zahid, I have tried to do just that, but I couldn’t get it to Save to PDF on one page. That’s why I uploaded a copy to Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sharisax/4217296736/
Perhaps one of our readers can download the jpeg and turn it into a PDF file.
