I especially think using twitter/facebook for recruitment is going to take off in a BIG way. I see a number of companys using it to list potential recruitment, it is an easy way to send the statement to a massive list of people at once instead of on their main website/recruitment agency where not as many people would look for it.

Guys, I would add an initial “Be strategic”. Do not think you are doing social media just because you set up a Facebook account, you should have decided a strategy before, these are just tools.
At the end of the day you would not think of building a house just because you bought a hammer, would you?

Excellent post as whole.. I believe this is a list have to be printed and stick on the office notice board.. And there will be a direct positive effect on companies branding on social media platforms….

As far as the recruitment is concern I think still facebook and twitter are failed to beat linkedin but I have to appreciate twitter for bring itself added as a trust rank for most job positions…
