Five buses and two BART rides today. Mea culpa. I transferred onto one of the wrong buses, so had to go back to where I started . . . home two hours later than otherwise \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>2. All of this could have been easier because I discovered the Clipper Card &#8212; a debit card for public transit so you don&#8217;t need to continually pull out the exact change.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15.8333px;\">However, when the automated readers don&#8217;t work, you are double-charged. You never know this\u00a0<em>unless<\/em> you scrutinize each day&#8217;s rides. <em>Then<\/em> you must call up, wait on hold to interminable elevator music, begin your report to the customer service person, get cut off, call back . . . etc. etc. That&#8217;s what I went through after busing around the county.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3.
