{"id":1026,"date":"2010-12-31T19:56:07","date_gmt":"2010-12-31T19:56:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sharisax.com\/DrivingMissShari\/?p=1026"},"modified":"2010-12-31T19:56:07","modified_gmt":"2010-12-31T19:56:07","slug":"2011-resolutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sharisax.com\/DrivingMissShari\/2010\/12\/2011-resolutions\/","title":{"rendered":"How to make your 2011 resolutions . . . and keep them :-)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">What would life be like if you had &#8220;more&#8221; . . .<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Imagine &#8212; and dream, if you will &#8212; what your life would look like if you had more money.<\/p>\n<p>What about if you had more energy?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>more influence<\/li>\n<li>more respect<\/li>\n<li>more clothes<\/li>\n<li>more friends<\/li>\n<li>more passions<\/li>\n<li>etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 20px; font-size: 13.3333px;\">You get the idea, right?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 20px;\">Take any &#8212; or all &#8212; of those dream-wishes and just think about how your life would change.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 20px;\">Would any one of those dream-wishes make a significant difference in your satisfaction with life?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 20px;\">It&#8217;s Dec 31, and I was riding my bike home from yoga thinking about how my life might be different if I did have more money<a href=\"https:\/\/sharisax.com\/DrivingMissShari\/2010\/08\/how-to-become-rich-famous-on-the-web\/\" target=\"_blank\"> [How to become rich &amp; famous on the web]<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 20px;\">Personally, I love the Challenge. I know we have all heard of celebrities [relatives, politicos, etc.] with more money than they know what to do with (i.e. more money than brains). Are their lives better than mine? than yours?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 20px;\">So it occurred to me that we all ought to &#8220;Be Careful What We Wish For&#8221; &#8212; and, then, i.e. if we are &#8220;careful&#8221; [and one of my favorite words &#8220;deliberate&#8221;], then we can make realistic objectives that we can accomplish through Focus and Effort.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 20px;\"><em>What do you think?<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>How would your life be different if you had &#8220;more&#8221;?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>How do you INTEND to get there?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What would life be like if you had &#8220;more&#8221; . . .
