I was compelled to read it because I'd written a 3 part comic strip called the Art of the Pitch in which the 1st part was titled, the Invitation. Needless to say yours and mine were quite different. Back to your story; it was very engaging...I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. I felt sorry for Monica and I'm disappointed that Lyle didn't do more to look out for his little sister. And I'm sure Arnie could have found someone closer to his own age to take advantage of. This story should be told in every JHS and High School in America. Great story Shari!
