Waaaaaah, my 2003 Buick Century served me well for almost 8 years, but I’m ready to take a step UP . . . as long as it’s “newish,” i.e. gently used late model, and I want leather seats and some of those luxurious accoutrements that I wouldn’t want to pay full price for on top of the base price of a new model.
Oh, yes, I want to spend less than $20,000 [as much less as possible].
Any suggestions?
BTW, the accident was all the culprit’s fault. He stepped on the gas behind me when I was stopped at a traffic light . . . and, ironically, it happened the day I took [and passed] my Behind the Wheel Driving Test.
PS Just in case you have to take the test, check out the post showing the videos on most common Driver Test mistakes.
PPS I want to do two related posts: (a) What to do when you’re involved in a vehicle accident [and what not to do] and (b) How to choose and buy a new car. What are your experiences and tips?
Please give me some ideas of models, and if you are in the Bay Area, where to shop. Thanks for your help.
